Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website grepodcast.com and the audio content offered on it (together, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by GRE Podcast ("we", "us", "our"), operating from India. By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
GRE Podcast provides educational audio episodes ("Episodes") that explain the vocabulary words found in the Magoosh® GRE flashcard decks. There are 25 decks; each deck has a short recap Episode and a long deep-dive Episode. The first deck (Common Words I) is available free of charge so you can evaluate the Service before paying. GRE Podcast is an independent study companion and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Magoosh or ETS.
2. Pricing and payment
- Access to all Episodes is unlocked with a single one-time payment. The current price is displayed on our home page and at checkout before you pay, inclusive of applicable taxes. Visitors in India pay in Indian Rupees (INR); international visitors are shown an equivalent price in a supported foreign currency (for example USD) where available, and otherwise pay in INR.
- Payments in Indian Rupees are processed by Cashfree Payments India Private Limited, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We accept UPI (including Google Pay and PhonePe), credit and debit cards, netbanking and wallets.
- Payments in any other currency are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for those transactions and handles the applicable local sales tax or VAT. We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods offered at their checkout.
- We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials.
- This is not a recurring subscription. There is no auto-renewal and no future charges — you pay once, and access simply expires at the end of the access period unless you choose to purchase again.
3. Delivery and access
- Access is delivered instantly and electronically: the moment your payment is confirmed, all decks unlock in your browser. Nothing is shipped physically.
- Your access lasts 365 days from the date of payment.
- After paying you receive an access code, shown on the confirmation screen. You can use it to unlock the Service on up to 3 of your own devices via the "Restore access" page. Keep this code private — anyone who has it can consume your device allowance.
- No account, username or password is created. Access is tied to your payment and your devices.
4. Licence and acceptable use
Upon payment we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream the Episodes for your own private study. You agree not to:
- share, sell, lend or publish your access code;
- download, record, re-upload, redistribute or publicly perform the Episodes or any part of them;
- use the Service for any commercial purpose, including reselling access or bundling it with other offerings;
- attempt to bypass, probe or disable the technical measures that protect the content; or
- use bots or scripts to scrape or bulk-download any part of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access — without refund — where we reasonably believe these Terms have been materially violated, for example widespread sharing of an access code.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Our full policy is on the Refund & Cancellation Policy page. In short: try the free deck first; if a technical problem stops you from using what you paid for and our support cannot fix it, contact us within 7 days of payment and we will refund you to your original payment method.
6. Intellectual property
All Episodes, scripts, recordings, artwork and website design are our original work and are protected by copyright. The word lists we cover correspond to publicly known GRE study vocabulary; "Magoosh" is a registered trademark of Magoosh Inc. and "GRE" is a registered trademark of ETS — both are used here only to describe compatibility, and their owners do not endorse this Service.
7. Disclaimers
- The Service is educational content provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise any particular GRE score or admission outcome.
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance windows and outages beyond our control can occur. Where an outage materially affects your paid access, contact us and we will make it right (for example by extending your access period).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update the Service (for example adding Episodes) and these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance. Changes will not reduce the access period you have already paid for.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the competent courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We would much rather sort things out directly — please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve any issue quickly.
